Adrian Small is an organizer and community advocate born and raised by a working-class family in rural Arizona.
Adrian is a proud alumni of Arizona Arizona public schools. Eventually, he he attended Northern Arizona University where he studied sociology.
After graduating, he worked to expand healthcare access for Native American communities across the state.
He learned the importance of access to healthcare for Arizona communities at a young age when his father was diagnosed with a chronic condition, leaving him unable to work. This insipired him to fight for access to healthcare for all Arizona communities.
Growing up in rual Arizona, Adrian Small saw first-hand how the climate crisis affected his community and the landscape around him. Increasing heat and frequent drouts left communities without access to saf, clean and reliable drinking water.
Water and air polution from near by industrial plants left people in his community sickened with chronic illnesses.
He is strongly opposed to the wealthy and powerful corporate polluters profiting off of pumping toxins into the air and drinking water.
He has been proud to stand with the indigenous communities centuries long enviromental activisim.
Arizona is diverse. The state is strengthened by its indigenous and Latino population that have created the beautiful and diverse culture of Arizona.
It is past time Arizona had leaders that look like them, and fight for them.
Adrian is committed to fighting for long term inventements in education, housing, criminal justice reform, and economic oppertunity to create thriving communities.
Adrian believes that right now, the economy works for the rich and powerful not everyday working Arizona families.
He will fight for a liviing wage for all people in Arizona.
